Make a Positive Difference to a Young Person's Education
Remedy Tutors is looking for patient and understanding tutors to support children and young people with SEN and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Students may experience anxiety, low confidence, emotional regulation difficulties, social communication challenges or difficulties engaging with traditional classroom learning. Your role will be to provide consistent, individualised tuition that supports both academic progress and positive engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Teach
both Maths and English .
Plan and deliver personalised one-to-one lessons.
Adapt teaching to individual learning and emotional needs.
Encourage positive learning routines and independence.
Build a supportive and trusting relationship.
Monitor progress and adapt lessons accordingly.
Requirements
Ability to teach Maths and English is essential.
Experience with SEN/SEND or SEMH is desirable.
Calm, patient and encouraging approach.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
