Talent Advisory Manager Employee Relations
Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG)
Lead talent advisory services at BLG, applying employee relations expertise and sound judgment across an assigned business area or region. This is a 14-month contract.
The Manager, Talent Advisory partners with leaders on complex people matters and organizational capability. The work spans performance management, workplace investigations, recruitment, workforce planning, employee development, and lifecycle guidance. You will provide practical advice aligned with Firm policies, Canadian employment legislation, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach leaders on employee relations and workplace concerns
Support investigations and performance improvement processes
Guide recruitment, workforce planning, and talent decisions
Oversee onboarding, transfers, accommodations, and departures
Use workforce insights to improve Talent service delivery
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline
Five to seven years of progressive Human Resources experience
Experience in advisory or Human Resources business partnering environments
Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and complex employee relations
Strong judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills
Bring practical employee relations advice, workforce insight, and talent partnership to BLG’s assigned business area or region.
