Guide Worley electrical designers through technical reviews, mentoring, and coordinated delivery of safe, constructible design packages. This full-time position is an individual contributor role.
As a Lead Electrical Designer, you will balance hands-on design expertise with daily leadership of a small team. You will coordinate priorities, interpret engineering requirements, and check deliverables. The work supports projects across energy, chemicals, mining, and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical guidance to Electrical Designers and Design Technologists
Lead daily design activities, priorities, and resource coordination
Interpret requirements into detailed drawings and models
Interface with construction, procurement, and commissioning teams
Incorporate client feedback through change management processes
Requirements:

Electrical Engineering Technology diploma, degree, or related qualification
Demonstrated leadership of electrical design teams or work packages
Experience with industrial facilities and multidisciplinary projects
Ability to interpret specifications, datasheets, and vendor drawings
Strong communication and cross-discipline collaboration skills
Use technical leadership, mentoring, and electrical design coordination to advance Worley project deliverables from requirements through execution.
