Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit
Rural Roads Health Services
Care for complex medical patients as a Registered Nurse in Rural Roads Health Services’ ICCU at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. Current B.L.S. and A.C.L.S. are required.
This temporary Registered Nurse contract runs approximately until October 2027, or sooner as determined by RRHS. The five bed Intensive Coronary Care Unit provides intensive care after major health crises, complicated surgery, and complex medical conditions. Nurses work with Internal Medicine Physicians and Respiratory Therapists.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient care within the Intensive Coronary Care Unit
Contribute to positive working relationships within the team
Communicate thoughtfully with patients and families
Support positive team morale and performance
Protect patient privacy and confidentiality
Requirements:
Registered Nurse certification through the College of Nurses of Ontario
Minimum one year recent Critical Care experience required
Current B.L.S. and A.C.L.S. required
Recent Medical/Surgical experience preferred
Successful Critical Care Course completion preferred
Support specialized ICCU care through Registered Nurse practice, critical care experience, and collaborative communication at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
