Contract Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Deliver primary care at Parallel Health’s St. John’s Clinic using clinical judgment, technology, and compassionate communication. This is a contract opportunity.
As a Contract Nurse Practitioner, you will provide fee-for-service primary care appointments to the general public. The position involves examining patients, determining causes of illness or concern, and coordinating care. You will work collaboratively with staff to support smooth daily clinic operations while serving clients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Examine patients to determine illness causes or health concerns
Order laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
Write prescriptions and referrals to specialists
Perform minor procedures during primary care appointments
Collaborate with staff on daily clinic operations
Requirements:
Hold Nurse Practitioner licensure through the provincial nursing college
Preferably have a community healthcare focus
Bring clinic or testing services experience
Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
Use computers comfortably across all work aspects
