Night Shift Wilderness Therapist Role

Embrace the outdoors in a Night Shift Wilderness Therapist role with ThreePeaks Ascent. Provide transformative therapeutic experiences while ensuring student safety during 13-hour shifts in the backcountry.
This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students facing mental and behavioral challenges. You will supervise students, assist with curriculum work, and lead experiential activities. Engage actively in discussions and facilitate emotional processing in a safe environment to foster healing and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and ensure student safety in the backcountry
• Document student supervision and progress accurately
• Assist students with their curriculum activities
• Lead groups through nature-based experiential exercises
• Manage crises within the group and provide support
Requirements:
• High School diploma; college degree preferred
• CPR and First Aid certified; WFR preferred
• 19 years or older and eligible to work in the USA
• Pass background checks and health assessments
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
