MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team needs a Designated Professional with public accounting experience and strong financial reporting knowledge. Serve clients as a trusted advisor.
This Designated Professional position supports diverse client needs across a changing business and financial reporting landscape. You will manage multiple files, perform accounting and tax work, and summarize clients’ financial status. The position also involves preparing technical communications, developing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up files for new clients and incorporated businesses
Manage multiple files simultaneously and conduct inventory counts
Perform accounts receivable, payable, payroll, and capital asset walkthroughs
Prepare correspondence, technical reports, summaries, and presentations
Participate in business development and identify new opportunities
Requirements:
CPA designation
Two to four years of public accounting experience
Extensive knowledge of GAAP, SEC, and IFRS
Experience working with accounting and tax software
Flexibility to travel as necessary
Bring public accounting experience, financial reporting knowledge, and relationship-building skills to MNP’s client-focused advisory team.
