Labour and Delivery Registered Nurse

Provide registered nursing care in person at Health Sciences Centre’s Labour and Delivery 2 unit in Winnipeg. Apply critical thinking and clinical knowledge.
Shared Health seeks a General Duty Nurse for a 0.70 FTE term position in Women’s Health Labour and Delivery. The successful candidate brings registered nursing education, effective communication, and patient-care prioritization skills. Labour and Delivery experience is preferred, while reproductive health care includes pregnancy termination. This position supports individual patients or groups within a healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize care for individual patients or patient groups
Respond to simultaneous demands and changing situations
Perform independently and as a healthcare team member
Maintain concentration with frequent interruptions
Apply clinical-area nursing care knowledge
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
Maintain registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
Provide proof of current professional registration
Meet employer Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training requirements
Manage moderate to heavy physical effort
Use registered nursing expertise, reproductive health knowledge, and sound prioritization in Shared Health’s Winnipeg Labour and Delivery unit.
