Eyewear and Contact Lens Associate

Help patients choose eyewear and access contact lens services as an Optical Associate at FYidoctors Gander. This full-time clinic role runs Monday through Friday, 30–40 hours weekly.
You will create positive patient experiences through frame selection, prescription interpretation, measurements, adjustments, and contact lens orders. The position combines optical knowledge with clinic administration, including appointment coordination, prescription printouts, billing, and payments. FYidoctors Gander seeks someone comfortable connecting with patients in person, by phone, and via email. Optical or retail experience is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Educate patients about lifestyle-focused eyewear options
Assist with frame selection for fit, aesthetics, and value
Support contact lens fittings and process orders
Deliver responsive service across patient communications
Manage billing and payments for patients and insurers
Requirements:
Optical or retail experience is considered an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Technology and computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
Ability to multitask in changing priorities
Growth-minded, adaptable, and collaborative working style
Use eyewear guidance, contact lens support, and clear communication to strengthen every patient experience at FYidoctors Gander.
