Collect secure Christmas Kettle donations while serving shoppers and community supporters in malls and stores for The Salvation Army.
This temporary casual relief worker supports The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign and its goal of giving hope to others. The assignment involves standing for extended periods, answering questions, maintaining donation security, and representing the organization’s mission and values. Shifts may include days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and split schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and secure donations at assigned kettles
Remain standing at mall or store locations
Provide courteous service to potential donors
Work shifts from Monday through Saturday
Complete other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Completed high school or equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to work in cold weather
Flexible availability for varied shifts
Reliable transportation and ability to lift 9 to 12 kilograms
