The Assistant Operator provides onsite support for GFL’s Vacuum Truck Services Division. Responsibilities span hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, and assisting with loading and hauling fluids or materials. Safety, professionalism, and teamwork remain central.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with loading and hauling fluids or materials
Support confined space entry activities safely
Perform spill cleanup and line flushing tasks
Complete physically demanding onsite labour
Represent GFL professionally with all clients
Requirements:

Valid driver’s license
General safety knowledge, experience, and awareness
Required H2S certification before starting
Required confined space entry and fall arrest certification
Ability to perform high-intensity labour in teams
Use your physical capability, safety knowledge, and industrial service focus supporting GFL vacuum truck operations.
