Join Dignity Memorial as a Pallbearer in Toronto, Ontario. Support families with compassion during difficult times while handling casket transportation and related services.
As a Pallbearer, you will assist in moving casketed deceased and ensure timely transportation to funerals. Upholding the highest standards of professionalism, you'll work closely with the Funeral Director to manage all logistics while showing empathy to families. Your role may also involve community outreach, requiring a commitment to continuous learning with Dignity University.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive hearse and other vehicles for funeral services
• Assist in moving the casketed deceased carefully
• Guide handicapped and elderly passengers in/out of vehicles
• Ensure vehicles are clean before departures
• Assist Funeral Director with cortege formation
Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver's License with a clean record
• Minimum of six months related experience
• Professional appearance and compassion required
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and work effectively with others
