As a Cook, you will prepare ingredients and cook meat, vegetables, and other foods using multiple methods. Responsibilities include baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, arranging, garnishing, portioning, and storing food. You will also maintain sanitized work areas and follow Aramark safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients through measuring and chopping
Safely use knives and kitchen utensils
Bake, roast, broil, steam, and cook foods
Arrange, garnish, and portion prepared food
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements:
Required experience as a cook or related worker
Validated knowledge of basic food preparation principles
Knowledge of various cooking methods
Ability to obtain food safety certification
Written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
Apply recipe knowledge, varied cooking techniques, and safe food handling to deliver prepared food within Aramark operations.
