Facility Personal Support Worker Spectrum

Spectrum Health Care seeks Personal Support Workers for facility settings in East Gwillimbury. Use personal care expertise and compassionate support daily.
This full time or part time position supports patients and families through personal care and activities of daily living. Personal Support Workers assess needs, communicate available Total Care resources when appropriate, and complete delegated duties under a Home Support Supervisor’s supervision. Travel within the assigned region is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with bathing, toileting, and skincare
Support feeding and light meal preparation
Identify and respond to new patient needs
Communicate available Total Care resources appropriately
Travel between patients’ residences or facilities
Requirements:
Approved Personal Support Worker Certificate or specified nursing qualification
Ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach
Ability to assist clients with movement and repositioning
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Valid First Aid, CPR, Vulnerable Sector Check, and Two Step TB Test
Support safe patient care through personal assistance, needs assessment, and supervised tasks with Spectrum Health Care in facility settings.
