Fleet Yard Equipment Operator
Primoris Services Corporation
Support fleet readiness from Primoris Canada’s Acheson Yard through safe equipment operation, parts delivery, inspections, and maintenance assistance. This Monday-to-Friday position serves the Fleet Division.
The Equipment Yard Lead serves as the primary operator and owner of yard activities. You will manage equipment, parts, and materials supporting shop and field operations. The work calls for experience with forklifts, loaders, skid steers, telehandlers, and related yard equipment. Mechanical inclination, organization, and self-motivation are important for daily success.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts, loaders, skid steers, and telehandlers
Support repairs, preventative maintenance, fueling, and washing
Boost batteries and thaw frozen equipment
Pick up and deliver priority repair parts
Assist commissioning and decommissioning of equipment
Requirements:
Previous experience operating equipment
Valid Class 5 license; Class 3 or 1 considered asset
Experience in tight spaces considered an asset
Common Safety Orientation
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work collaboratively
Use equipment operation and mechanical support capabilities to help maintain fleet uptime across Primoris Canada’s Acheson Yard operations.
