Casual Institutional Second Cook

Prepare institutional meals as a Casual Second Cook, using quantity cooking skills and following menu, safety, and health standards.
This position requires graduation from institutional or residential quantity cooking, or equivalent, plus one year of related cooking experience. You will prepare meals and snacks, including special dietary needs and special occasions. Strong communication, calm crisis response, and interactive teamwork support the work.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare meals and snacks according to the menu plan
Cook and bake for regular and special occasions
Serve meals meeting special dietary needs
Maintain cooking facilities and equipment cleanliness
Review preparation needs and assist with food inventory
Requirements:

Graduation in institutional or residential quantity cooking
One year of related cooking experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Food Safe Level 1 certification
Negative TB results and criminal record check consent
Apply quantity cooking, meal service, teamwork, and food safety knowledge as a Casual Second Cook supporting facility dining needs.
