Hamilton Registered Practical Nurse
Extendicare
Registered Practical Nurses provide resident care and staff leadership at Extendicare’s Hamilton Home in Hamilton, Ontario, across part-time shifts.
This part-time position offers 30-hour opportunities across all shifts. You will work as an RPN, developing resident care plans and guiding personal care staff. The role also includes orienting and training new team members while following standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop resident care plans for assigned residents
Implement, review, and evaluate resident care plans
Plan and direct personal care staff work
Supervise and evaluate personal care staff
Orient and train new team members
Requirements:
Current registration with the provincial College of Nurses
Compassionate, professional, and respectful approach
Ability to read effectively in English
Ability to write effectively in English
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Bring registered nursing expertise, resident care planning, and staff supervision to Extendicare’s Hamilton Home as an RPN.
