After-School Youth Program Supervisor
Albion Neighbourhood Services
Lead after-school youth programs with direct supervision, staff coaching and safety oversight at BGC Albion’s assigned Etobicoke program sites.
Reporting to the BGC Albion Manager, this Youth Program Coordinator role oversees daily programming for youth. You will guide staff, students and volunteers while coordinating recreation, nutrition, homework support and life skills development. The position promotes confidence, relationships and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Assign daily tasks and coordinate staff coverage
Coach teams through huddles, check-ins and training
Monitor attendance, performance and staff documentation
Facilitate positive youth development and study support
Enforce safeguarding, confidentiality and health procedures
Requirements:
Two years’ experience in youth-serving programs
One year coordinating or supervising personnel
Knowledge of inclusion, accessibility and professional boundaries
Ability to respond calmly to challenges
Weekday evening and occasional weekend availability
Use supervision, coaching and safety judgement to coordinate welcoming, organized youth services through BGC Albion.
