Teach across Pembina Trails School Division as an itinerant substitute teacher, supporting K-8 classrooms at various Winnipeg-area locations. A Manitoba Permanent Teaching Certificate is required.
This 1.0 FTE term assignment runs from November 30, 2026, to March 25, 2027. You will provide regular substitute teaching within a K-8 setting and serve a neighbourhood family of schools. Assignments may change between schools during the day, supporting teaching vacancies across three to four locations.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular substitute teaching duties in K-8 settings
Report to assigned schools between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m.
Cover teaching vacancies across three to four locations
Transfer between schools during morning and afternoon assignments
Attend staff meetings and professional development events
Requirements:

Manitoba Permanent Teaching Certificate
Completion of Commit 2 Kids or Respect in Schools training
Availability for the complete four-month term contract
Ability to work across various assigned school locations
French language ability or a vehicle is an asset
Support K-8 learners across Pembina Trails schools through adaptable substitute teaching and consistent school-based participation.
