The Child Study Centre is seeking a committed Early Childhood Educator to promote safe, inclusive, and responsive learning for children. With a minimum of three years of experience and an ECE Level 2 or higher, you will play a pivotal role in observing and documenting children's growth. You'll have the chance to shape innovative curriculum inspired by children's interests and the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Co-create responsive curriculum and learning experiences
• Establish safe and engaging indoor and outdoor environments
• Observe and document children's engagement and ideas
• Build respectful relationships with families and colleagues
• Mentor practicum students and volunteers
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years ECE classroom experience
• ECE Level 2 or higher certification
• Familiarity with emergent curriculum
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• First Aid and CPR certification required
