East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 6 clinician for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Gateway Worker supports people moving smoothly through referral, treatment, and discharge. You will help create seamless transitions to and from designated borough services. Suitable treatment cases may form part of your caseload, subject to training and line manager agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide service users through Talking Therapies pathways
Facilitate smooth movement between services and teams
Support access when needs are complex
Coordinate care involving multiple services
Undertake appropriate treatment cases as agreed
Requirements:
Experienced clinician from a stated professional background
Senior PWP, occupational therapy, nursing, social work, or psychology experience
Training appropriate to assigned treatment work
Commitment to service user and carer support
Ability to work full time or eligible job share arrangement
Use multidisciplinary clinical experience to improve access, transitions, and treatment pathways for people supported by Newham Talking Therapies.
