Experienced Carpenter

BUILD WITH US! CASMAN is seeking an Experienced Journeyperson Carpenters or 4th Year Registered Apprentices to join a rapidly growing team to assist with construction on projects in the Fort McMurray area. As a Carpenter, you will play an important role in the construction of our projects. You will work alongside our team and trades to deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining Casman’s standards for safety, quality, and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Carpentry certification or equivalent combination of training and experience
Experience in construction
Sound knowledge of standard carpentry practices, methods, materials, and tools
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
Experience with framing, finishing, and general residential carpentry
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
A valid driver's licence with 6 or fewer demerits and no major infractions
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of residential carpentry tasks throughout different stages construction
Construct, install, repair, and finish residential building components
Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely and effectively
Physical Requirements
Safety conscious and committed to maintaining a safe work environment
Physically fit and capable of performing the physical demands of residential construction
Able to lift and carry up to 25 kg (50 lb)
Comfortable working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments
