Temporary Dental Hygienist Patient Care

Temporary Dental Hygienist providing flexible, as-needed coverage with periodontal care and patient education. Support full schedules while delivering attentive clinical care.
This temporary Dental Hygienist position provides coverage when needed within a supportive clinical environment. You will work alongside an experienced doctor team using available tools and resources. The work includes periodontal assessment, preventive treatment, radiographs, treatment planning, and clear patient conversations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
Complete periodontal charting and assess periodontal health
Take and review radiographs and intraoral images
Educate patients about oral health and recommended care
Document records and maintain OSHA infection control standards
Requirements:
Active state dental hygiene license in good standing
Current CPR or BLS certification
Local anesthesia certification where required or preferred
Reliable, predictable, on-time attendance for scheduled coverage
Ability to communicate clearly with patients and care teams
Apply periodontal expertise, patient education, and dependable coverage to deliver excellent temporary dental hygiene care.
