Startup Recruiting Lead AI Infrastructure

Build Firecrawl’s hiring engine with AI-native recruiting, direct sourcing, and strong technical judgment. Work three-plus days weekly from SF or Toronto.
This full-time recruiter will manage the complete hiring funnel across Firecrawl’s AI infrastructure company. You will operate Ashby, use AI tools throughout recruiting, and combine partners with your own sourcing. You will support roles spanning engineering, research, go-to-market, and G&A while reporting to the Chief of Staff. Success depends on closing strong hires, not maximizing submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Ashby pipelines, stages, screening criteria, and reporting
Measure time-to-hire, stage pass rates, and source quality
Improve the funnel and cut channels that underperform
Keep candidates moving through fast, honest communication
Coordinate offer packets, references, and final candidate closing
Requirements:
Technical recruiting experience within a startup environment
Ability to explain engineering work and assess technical profiles
Experience improving agency or sourcing-partner output
Ability to manage multiple roles without dropping candidates
Daily use of AI tools for sourcing, screening, and writing
