Women’s Health Float Team Nurse
Winnipeg Regional Health Authority
Support women’s health nursing at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg with clinical judgment, patient prioritization, and adaptable care. This in-person position is 0.80 FTE.
Shared Health seeks a General Duty Nurse for the Women’s Float Team at Women’s Hospital. Previous nursing experience and knowledge of maternal-newborn, labour and delivery, or gynecology are preferred. The position requires registered nursing education, CRNM registration, and CPR training aligned with employer policy.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize care for individual or groups of patients
Respond to simultaneous demands and changing situations
Perform independently and within the healthcare team
Apply nursing care knowledge to clinical areas
Maintain concentration amid frequent interruptions
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
Maintain proof of CRNM registration
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Moderate to heavy physical effort required
