Echelon Insurance is hiring an Intermediate Commercial Claims Adjuster specializing in Accident Benefits, based in Mississauga, Ontario. Manage complex claims for automobiles, trucks, and recreational vehicles.
In this key role, you will ensure thorough investigations and prompt resolutions of claims while guiding external adjusters. Your problem-solving skills and 3-5 years of casualty claims experience are critical as you manage litigation and collaborate on challenging coverage issues. Your organizational skills will be pivotal in this high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee external adjusters for claims management
• Evaluate and negotiate high complexity claims
• Maintain control of expenses through proactive management
• Ensure compliance with corporate reserving protocols
• Participate in pre-trials and settlement conferences
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years experience in claims handling
• CIP designation or currently pursuing
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
