Howden seeks an experienced commercial claims professional for its Manchester team. You will support SMEs and larger commercial organisations across varied insurance classes. The position requires commercial policy knowledge, analytical judgment, stakeholder communication, and confident negotiation to help deliver effective claim resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage commercial claims from notification through settlement
Guide clients with updates and reassurance throughout claims
Coordinate with brokers, insurers, adjusters, and legal representatives
Assess coverage and claims information accurately
Negotiate fair settlements aligned with policy terms
Requirements:
Minimum 18 months’ commercial claims experience
Commercial insurance brokerage experience
Knowledge of policies, coverage, procedures, and regulations
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
GCSE Maths and English; CII or CILA advantageous
