Radiation Detection Field Service Technician
Raise
Use electronics and instrumentation expertise as a Field Service Technician in Oakville, with regular North American and occasional international travel. Support radiation detection systems at industrial customer sites.
This full-time, permanent position serves a leader designing, manufacturing, and servicing technologically advanced radiation detection systems. You will install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment while supporting customers. The work includes electrical, electronic, mechanical, software, networking, and communications systems. Collaboration with engineering and production teams supports customized customer applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and commission radiation detection systems and associated equipment
Perform maintenance, calibration, inspections, and functional verification
Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical, software, and networking faults
Configure industrial networks and communication interfaces
Prepare reports, certificates, records, and customer documentation
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in electronics, instrumentation, or electrical engineering technology
Three to five years of relevant field service experience
Industrial instrumentation, control systems, or analytical sensor experience
Valid driver’s licence, clean driving record, and passport
Ability to travel and work in industrial environments
