Security Systems Installation Technician

Install security systems with Securitas Technology Canada, using troubleshooting skills across access, intrusion, fire monitoring, and CCTV equipment.
As a Security System Technician, you will install, configure, service, and support client security systems under the District Installation Manager. Your work covers new installations, preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. You will help clients operate systems efficiently while maintaining accurate service documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, reconfigure, remove, and relocate security products
Conduct site surveys as required
Provide technical and user support to clients
Complete safety paperwork, drawings, pictures, and work orders
Update project managers on installation status
Requirements:
Excellent computer skills with A+ certification planned or underway
Ability to diagnose problems quickly and correctly
Availability for 24-hour on-call rotations, weekends, and holidays
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
BC Security License and United Steelworkers union membership
