Investigate bodily injury claims for Gallagher Bassett from Scarborough in a hybrid, full-time position requiring judgment and negotiation. Support claimants, clients, and parties through complex resolutions.
As a Senior Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster, you will investigate, evaluate, dispose of, and settle claims. Your portfolio may include general liability, product liability, property damage, and third-party auto tort losses. You will apply coverage knowledge, analytical judgment, and communication skills while following client policies, corporate procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze claim exposure and determine appropriate courses of action
Negotiate settlements with solicitors and involved parties
Interact extensively with parties throughout the claim process
Document and communicate claim activity accurately and promptly
Handle claims according to policies, procedures, and statutory requirements
Requirements:
Minimum five years of bodily injury claims experience
Strong coverage, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
College or university degree, or equivalent work experience preferred
Required provincial licensing or ability to become licensed
