Corporate Accountant Audit Support
Metro Supply Chain
Build accounting expertise through audit support, payroll accruals, and financial reviews at Metro Supply Chain Group. Use Excel and accounting systems daily.
As an Accountant, you will support Operations Finance professionals serving multiple operating divisions. Reporting to a Finance Manager or Controller, you will analyze accounting information, prepare documentation, and contribute to regular financial reporting. The role includes Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and Management Reporter exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze accounting information using designated financial software
Prepare supporting documentation for audits and tax requirements
Validate payroll postings and record payroll accruals
Compile and analyze financial results for reviews
Complete ad hoc duties for Finance and Operations stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
CPA designation in progress
At least two to three years of accounting experience
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
Knowledge of Canadian GAAP and accounting software
Develop broad accounting, audit support, payroll, and financial analysis experience within Metro Supply Chain Group’s collaborative finance organization.
