Relief Full-Time Operating Room Nurse

Fraser Health’s Operating Room team needs a Registered Nurse to deliver care under BCCNM standards and hospital policies. You will support surgical procedures, maintain safety, document counts, and contribute to patient care improvement. The role is located in Chilliwack, B.C.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain, check, set up, and position surgical equipment
Complete standardized instrument counts and documentation
Maintain safe environments through emergency and safety practices
Assign and delegate tasks to appropriate staff
Participate on nursing and hospital committees and councils
Requirements:
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
Current practicing registration with BCCNM
Recent relevant clinical nursing experience of one year
Postgraduate coursework or certification, or equivalent preparation
Physical ability to perform position duties
