Pediatric Rehabilitation Physiotherapist IWK

Support pediatric rehabilitation at IWK Health as a Physiotherapist in Halifax, using clinical care and Family Centred Care principles.
This permanent full-time position serves Children’s Medical Care within Rehabilitation Services. You will support acute neurology and neurosurgery inpatients, including the Inpatient Rehab Team. The work includes patient education, professional development, and shared caseload coverage across the Health Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Inpatient Rehab Team’s patient care
Provide direct, consultative, and monitoring services
Participate in care team meetings and working groups
Contribute to patient and family education
Share Health Centre caseload coverage as required
Requirements:
Minimum two years of clinical experience required
Pediatric or acute care experience preferred
Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Understanding and commitment to Family Centred Care
Bring pediatric rehabilitation, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills to Physiotherapy services at IWK Health.
