Disability Claims Case Manager

Support disability claims remotely across Canada as a Case Manager using health knowledge, critical thinking, and compassionate communication. Help guide recovery journeys.
Manulife is seeking professionals for disability case management across Absence Management Consultative Services, Short-Term Disability, or Long-Term Disability claims. You will evaluate contractual, medical, and vocational barriers, coordinate with plan members and treatment providers, and communicate benefit-related decisions. The work requires empathy, emotional intelligence, resiliency, and sound judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively manage assigned disability caseloads and service-level requirements
Respond promptly to daily emails and telephone calls
Evaluate medical and vocational barriers affecting disability claims
Build relationships with plan sponsors, members, and treatment providers
Write analytical letters explaining pertinent benefit information
Requirements:
College or university healthcare education is an asset
Knowledge of disability management or group benefits is beneficial
Comfort handling incoming and outgoing calls
Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
Bilingual English and French proficiency required in Québec
Bring analytical reasoning, emotional intelligence, and disability claims knowledge to Manulife’s remote Case Manager work.
