Licensed Electrician Automation Maintenance

Support Saputo’s dairy manufacturing systems as a Licensed Electrician specializing in automation, instrumentation, and electrical maintenance. Work a Wednesday-to-Saturday afternoon shift.
This opportunity suits a qualified 442A Industrial Electrician with strong technical aptitude and industrial maintenance experience. You will troubleshoot automated equipment, test electrical components, perform calibrations, and maintain production systems. The role requires safe, independent work while supporting plant personnel, peer groups, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment during breakdowns
Perform electromechanical preventative maintenance and calibrations
Test electrical and electronic components and equipment
Maintain pressure, temperature, and flow controls
Complete assigned duties from maintenance leadership
Requirements:
Possess 442A certification and Skilled Trades Ontario Red Seal
Have three years of industrial electromechanical experience with PLCs
Demonstrate food manufacturing or high-speed equipment experience
Understand GMP and applicable food safety practices
Communicate effectively in written and spoken English
