Support home construction in Mississauga as an Assistant Builder with Mattamy Homes Canada, coordinating trades, quality checks, and production schedules onsite.
This entry-level building management position assists the Builder across assigned homes from carpentry through warranty service request signoff. You will monitor workmanship, coordinate trade partners and suppliers, and help deliver QA-ready homes within company standards. The work requires technical homebuilding knowledge, organization, communication, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist construction from carpentry through warranty service signoff
Walk homes daily and document imperfections, options, and extras
Conduct frame checks before drywall and follow up promptly
Coordinate trades, suppliers, inspectors, and construction staff
Update production schedules and enforce safety standards
Requirements:
Related post-secondary education or suitable industry experience
One to two years' homebuilding experience without post-secondary education
Valid driver's license and regular vehicle access
Technical understanding of homebuilding and Ontario Building Codes
Strong organization, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
