Keep Mecka AI’s distributed capture devices operational using Linux, scripting, and practical hardware troubleshooting. Improve readiness checks for teams collecting robotics data globally.
As a Capture Device Operations Engineer, you will carry issues from first report through verified resolution for a growing device fleet. You will prepare deployments, support remote diagnostics and updates, and provide operators with actionable instructions. Your evidence-based work helps reduce downtime across locations, operators, and real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage reported issues through diagnosis and verified resolution
Configure devices and perform software updates before deployment
Diagnose peripherals, networking, data transfers, and Linux behavior
Write operational scripts and repeatable troubleshooting procedures
Inspect returned devices and confirm readiness for reuse
Requirements:
Three to four years troubleshooting combined hardware and software
Hands-on Linux command-line and network diagnostic experience
Python or shell scripting for operational automation
Experience validating behavior after configuration changes
Ability to document evidence and useful reproduction steps
Use fleet support, Linux diagnostics, and operational scripting to keep Mecka AI capture devices ready for deployment.
