Annual Giving Development Officer
St. Joseph's Hospice
Annual giving and donor relations define this full-time Development Officer role at St. Joseph’s Hospice, working 100% on-site in London. Use DonorPerfect and fundraising expertise daily.
Reporting to the Director, Community Engagement and Development, you will coordinate annual fundraising and donor relations activities. The position supports donor acquisition, retention, renewal and increased giving through appeals, monthly gifts, grants and corporate donations. You will also manage sensitive relationships connected to hospice care.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop annual giving pipelines through cultivation, solicitation and stewardship
Plan direct mail and digital fundraising appeals
Cultivate corporate donors and secure in-kind contributions
Coordinate grants, third-party events and lottery activities
Monitor revenue, retention, renewals and fundraising forecasts
Requirements:
Three to five years of progressive fundraising experience
Direct annual giving, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship experience
University degree or college diploma, or equivalent experience
DonorPerfect or comparable donor database proficiency
Sensitive communication experience involving grief and end-of-life care
Bring annual giving, donor stewardship and database expertise to strengthen philanthropic support for St. Joseph’s Hospice.
