Join McMan as a Full-Time Intervention Support Specialist in Red Deer, Alberta. This role focuses on providing support to clients facing addiction and mental health challenges while embracing a harm reduction framework.
The Life Skills Outreach Program is seeking dedicated professionals committed to helping vulnerable populations. You will work directly with individuals struggling with complex needs, using innovative strategies to foster positive relationships and assist with essential daily living tasks. Your frontline experience is crucial in making a meaningful impact for those you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support high-risk clients with addiction or mental health issues
• Develop trust and foster therapeutic relationships
• Assist clients in maintaining stable housing
• Facilitate daily tasks like grocery shopping and medication management
• Promote hygiene and well-being among clients
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Human Services or related field
• Minimum 1 year frontline experience in human services
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification
• Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Knowledge of Indigenous Culture is an asset
