Agricultural Equipment Service Technician

Use advanced diagnostics to service agricultural equipment as a Technician supporting customer and dealer-owned machines. Develop expertise through hands-on repairs and training.
This Technician performs repairs and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment, including established Ag Management Solutions products. The work supports continued learning within the Hutson Service Business Model. You will maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products while completing accurate service documentation. Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems knowledge is central to the position. Service Advisor and basic computer skills are also required for assigned diagnostic work.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment
Maintain John Deere and competitive product knowledge
Participate in required Service EDUCATE Training programs
Complete reports, forms, time cards, and material records
Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, inventory, and work areas
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems knowledge
Ability to follow Technical Manual procedures using special tools
Service Advisor and basic computer proficiency
Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment
Apply agricultural repair, diagnostic, and equipment knowledge while developing technical capability through Hutson’s service training programs.
