Build mortgage business at BMO from 62 King Street West through referral development, relationship sales, and customer-focused home financing guidance.
As a Mortgage Specialist, you will cultivate referral networks, identify sales opportunities, and execute marketing programs that support mortgage growth. You will guide customers through applications, collaborate with branch teams, and refer broader banking needs to appropriate BMO partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Build referral relationships generating mortgage business and originations
Identify sales, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities
Guide customers through mortgage applications and processing
Coordinate documentation and handoffs with branch teams
Maintain compliant records, reports, and transaction updates
Requirements:
Three to five years of relevant experience
Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
In-depth mortgage lending and regulatory knowledge
Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills
Analytical, communication, influence, and collaboration skills
