Build a primary care practice in Ontario as a General Practitioner, with clinical autonomy, patient demand, and Medical Office Assistant support.
This new Barry’s Bay practice opened in January 2026 as part of an established group operating busy clinics. Around 500 patients are already waiting, while current doctors are fully booked. Medical Office Assistants manage vital signs, forms, and preparation, allowing consultations to focus on clinical decision-making. The 12-room facility sits in a busy shopping centre with an on-site pharmacy and seasonal walk-in traffic.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct primary care appointments for waiting patients
Make independent clinical decisions during consultations
Work effectively with a high-volume patient list
Provide high-quality care through strong communication
Adapt appointments to a 10-to-15-minute format
Requirements:
MRCGP or equivalent qualification
Eligibility for Canadian family physician certification
Comfort working within busy primary care volumes
Motivation by earning potential and productivity
Strong communication and patient-care commitment
