Métis Childcare Prevention Senior Manager

Lead culturally safe childcare and prevention services in Prince George, using program oversight and clinical supervision to support families.
This senior manager position oversees Métis early learning, childcare, and Family Prevention Program services. You will guide managers and staff, support culturally grounded programming, and coordinate integrated case management. The role includes collaboration with Elders, knowledge keepers, families, community partners, and social service organizations. You will also support quality assurance, referrals, reporting, and service planning across programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise childcare managers, staff, and prevention program teams
Provide clinical supervision and monitor integrated case management services
Coordinate referrals, intake, discharge planning, and follow-up cases
Develop culturally safe curriculum and involve Elders and knowledge keepers
Report program outcomes and recommend program refinements
Requirements:
ECE Diploma and current British Columbia ECE license
Three years of ECE experience, including one supervisory year
Two years of direct social services supervision
Social service diploma or degree and First Aid certification
Class 5 British Columbia license and reliable vehicle
