WCDSB is seeking a Certified Occasional Teacher to fill a 100% long-term occasional (LTO) teaching role. Ideal candidates should have French qualifications or an interest in teaching French. Key Responsibilities:
• Teach French as a Second Language effectively
• Engage students in creative language learning activities
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Maintain records of student performance
Requirements:
• Certified Occasional Teacher status in Ontario
• Preferred French qualifications or relevant background
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Recent teacher performance appraisal (if applicable)
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check required
