Key Responsibilities:
• Manage employment law files from first call to resolution
• Review contracts and advise clients on employment options
• Negotiate settlements with employers and opposing counsel
• Draft legal documents including pleadings and demand letters
• Represent clients in mediations and court proceedings
Requirements:
• Called to the Ontario bar
• 5 to 10 years of legal experience required
• Background in employment or litigation law
• Disability litigation experience or interest preferred
• Mentorship experience for newer lawyers available
