As Waitstaff, you will greet dining room guests warmly and take food and beverage orders efficiently. You will deliver items professionally while following established service steps. The position requires communication with back-of-house staff, knowledge of specialized diets, and prompt responses to guest needs or complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders
Deliver food professionally while maintaining sanitation standards
Explain menu items, ingredients, combinations, and specialized diets
Coordinate orders and special requests with back-of-house staff
Set up and maintain a clean dining room
Requirements:
Previous experience in the food services industry
Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
Exceptional communication skills and strong interpersonal ability
Ability to lift and transfer heavy, hot items
Ability to stand and walk for most shifts
