Heavy Production Labourer Steel Processing

Operate machinery and handle structural steel as a permanent Heavy Production Labourer working afternoon or overnight shifts. Use hand and power tools daily.
This full-time position supports manufacturing operations involving steel, rebar, processing machines, and warehouse materials. Candidates need two to three years of manufacturing or construction experience, plus safe equipment practices. The work includes crane operations, cutting, bending, measuring, and material handling. Training is provided for cutting saws, rebar benders, and shears.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery, equipment, and tools safely and efficiently
Retrieve structural steel and rebar from warehouse racks
Feed and unload processing machines
Measure rebar lengths and bends accurately
Maintain clean, organized work areas and report hazards
Requirements:
Two to three years manufacturing or construction experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Approved safety footwear and required protective equipment
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
Attention to detail, accountability, and dependability
