Asset Protection Specialist Retail

Protect The Home Depot store from theft and fraud while applying CCTV, investigations, and safety compliance skills. Some travel is required.
The Asset Protection Specialist prevents financial loss from theft, fraud, and organized retail crime. This role supports safety and environmental compliance while executing internal and external theft strategies. Responsibilities include investigations, physical security, reporting, surveillance, and associate awareness. The APS reports to an Asset Protection Supervisor or District Asset Protection Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct internal and external theft investigations
Detain and interview shoplifting suspects lawfully
Write reports, preserve evidence, and contact law enforcement
Use CCTV, exception reports, and EAS audits
Drive store safety and environmental compliance
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
One year retail Loss Prevention Investigator experience preferred
Valid security guard or private investigator license where applicable
Exceptional Microsoft Office knowledge
Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel
