Personal Support Worker Resident Care

Provide resident care as a Personal Support Worker using care plans, bedside techniques, and observation. Support a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
AgeCare seeks a Personal Support Worker to assist with resident needs and monitor care according to established plans. The work includes reporting findings, documenting care information, and following infection prevention procedures. You will also participate in staff education and support onboarding as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care to residents according to established care plans
Observe residents and report findings to the immediate supervisor
Document resident care information as directed
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops as directed
Follow IPAC policies and procedures consistently
Requirements:
Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
Meet Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
Know bedside care, sanitation, cleaning, and geriatric resident needs
Bring resident care, documentation, observation, and IPAC knowledge to AgeCare’s Personal Support Worker team.
