Complexity Teacher for Diverse Classrooms

Become a Complexity Teacher at Edmonton Catholic Schools, supporting diverse student needs and fostering inclusive practices. Collaborate with classroom teachers to enhance learning experiences and address challenges.

This regular, full-time role focuses on real-time problem-solving and effective strategy modeling alongside classroom teachers. You'll provide immediate support for behavioral, academic, or mental-health concerns while promoting inclusivity for all students. Your contributions will empower students by implementing targeted interventions tailored to individual or group needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Co-plan and co-teach with classroom teachers
• Address immediate behavioral and academic concerns
• Support English as an Additional Language learners
• Deliver tailored interventions for academic and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with the school’s multidisciplinary team

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education Degree
• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Two recent teaching evaluations
• Professional reference letters from the last two years
• Cover letter and resume required
